When it's only a few metres from the car park to the ski slope, the ski rentals and the ski school are located directly in the entry area of the main lifts and you can overlook large parts of the ski area with one glance despite the spaciousness - then this is ideal for families with children.
Tobogganing paradise
Nowhere else in the Sauerland is the variety of toboggan slopes as great as at the Postwiese. The 400 m long natural toboggan run with steep curves is mainly aimed at older children and adults, as it can be quite fast-paced here. On the Tenne toboggan run, on the other hand, even the very youngest feel at home. Here you have a wonderful view over everything and it is not really steep. Both toboggan hills are located in the immediate vicinity of the toboggan rentals and parking lots. More about it
Funslope at the Osthang chairlift
Only about 100 meters away from the natural toboggan run, right next to the main run to the Osthang chairlift is the Funpark Postwiese. With steep curves and metre-high kickers, the cracks of the scene feel very much at home here. But families also have their fun, because the Funslopeline with waves and smaller jumps, which was set up a few years ago, is easy for beginners to master. Special rates for families
To make skiing and tobogganing even more fun, we have family tickets for families with children in our range, which are significantly cheaper than the individual tickets, e.g.
1-day for 2 parents and 1 child(up to 15 years) for 70,- € complete. A saving of about 15 % compared to the single tickets. Each further child only 10, - € additionally.
The family ticket is also available for 2 and 3 days. Valid at all lifts in the ski village Neuastenberg incl. Funpark and toboggan run.
One of the best ski schools in Sauerland
The Neuastenberg ski school is one of the pioneers (since 1954) and first professionally operating ski schools in the Sauerland. For several decades, the state-certified ski instructor Ulrich Flasche has been responsible for the management of the ski school. Generations of children from the Sauerland and far beyond have learned their first turns on snow here. But even those who feel confident on the two boards can learn a lot more here in the advanced courses. Take a look
